A revolutionary new system, still in the experimental stages. This weapon is a little different than any other firearm, in that it is a smoothbore but still has the ability to put rotation on the projectile. How?

Upon pulling the charging handle, the "spinblock" is raised in level with the barrel. A projectile is inserted into the block, in which a small wheel starts spinning, and in turn spins the bullet. When desired rpm is reached, the trigger is pulled and the projectile leaves the weapon with deadly accuracy.

Pros and cons of this system:

Pro:
No need for long, heavy barrels to achieve farther range and accuracy
Compact and light weight
Easy to operate

Cons:
Loud whirring sound when the spin cycle is turned on
Expensive materials to withstand the strain and temperature buildup
Expensive ammunition
Low rate of fire
Probably wouldn't work in real life.
