"So stark wie wir uns abstoßen, weil wir einander zu gleich vom AUSMAß unserer Kräfte her sind", führte der Prinz der Schatten an seiner statt näher aus, "so stark ziehen wir uns an, weil wir so unterschiedlich von der ART unserer Kräfte her sind …"
"So ist es", stimmte ihm der junge König zu und betrachtete ihn mit einer paradoxen Mischung aus positiven und negativen Gefühlen. "Ich hasse dich", gestand Sacris offen und zog seinen Geliebten plötzlich am Oberarm zu sich her, "Du lässt mich gegen meinen Willen schwach werden und meine Beherrschung verlieren. Das ist verachtenswert." – "Und doch brauchst du mich …", stellte Jerome mit charismatisch verengten Augen fest und fuhr ihm mit einer Hand beschwörend über die athletische Brust zum Hals hinauf, "… und kannst nicht anders, als meine Nähe zu suchen."
"Ja …", knurrte Sacris mit bebend gerümpfter Nase, "Und ich weiß, dass mich diese widersprüchlichen Gefühle dir gegenüber jeden Augenblick in zwei reißen werden …!", und er presste seinen Gefährten mit einem Mal harsch auf die Liege, "Aber gerade nach deinem fatalen Fehltritt heute habe ich mehr denn je das Bedürfnis, DICH in zwei zu reißen und mich endgültig von dir zu erlösen."
"Dann tu es doch!", forderte der Prinz der Schatten herrisch und zog seinen Widersacher grob an der Kleidung zu sich herab, "Zerreiße mich!", und er ließ ein düsteres, fangzahnbewehrtes Grinsen sehen, "Lehre mich ein für allemal, was es für Konsequenzen hat, sich dem Befehl des Königs zu widersetzen!" Voll ungestümem Verlangen biss sich Jerome an der Unterlippe seines Geliebten fest und tauchte ihn in seine wild flackernde Aura der Finsternis.

Definitiv xD
War schon lustig Sacris' und Jeromes erste Erfahrungen auf einem Raumschiff, wo sich alles irgendwie fließendem Metall und Licht gleich verändert, zu beschreiben
(vor allem, als Sacris instinktiv sein Schwert zieht, um gegen den Weg anzukämpfen, auf dem er geht, weil der Weg sich hinter ihm wieder auflöst XD)

I too find this very impressive using effectively highlight to produce the image. I worried about the pose a little esp so for the restraining figure but I have contented myself by assuming he has paused and is considering his next move whilst the recumbent figure eagerly anticipates a positive decision. I love the night sky, the nice proportions of the figures and the attention to detail on the costumes. Always nice to see your work

yes you're right - they are indeed only pausing in the movement
however it seems like some of the other deviants either have VERY dark monitor settings or just can't deal with too extreme silhouettes, so I've brightened it up a bit (the old dark version is still availble seperately)

Hello there. I really enjoy this piece, the work put into it, the mood, it's very very pretty and calm.
It took me a bit to look for things that I could recommend looking at, but I think I have a couple.
The first thing I would recommend is shading/texture on fabric. Perhaps all the fabrics in here are made of the same material, but I'd assume not so much. So I'd recommend taking some time looking at your characters, and wondering how to really make the fabric they're wearing look like it's supposed to. Some wrinkle more, some have more sudden shine (like Vinyl Latex and Silk vs. Velvet and cotton) and I know you probably know this, but I notice in this picture, most of the fabric all looks the same. There's even that area where she's grabbing his chest and I couldn't figure out that it was her arm and hand as opposed to another part of his cape, so there's that.
Your faces have a lot of expression and emotion, your lips are very bold and your characters don't all share the exact same profile, which is a huge plus. However, watch out on your gal. I know some eyes are less sunken, but it's getting pretty close to the end of her face (though it could be an illusion created by her forhead as well, so I'll leave that judgement up to you :3 )
The other things is this whole piece is very dark and cool in terms of colors. It's nice, but I find that I really have to squint and get close to see some of your finer details. I know its backlit and night which means things are gonna be dark, but it just seems a little too much so. Like is there a moon hanging out somewhere in the sky? You may wanna consider making more areas shine with a silvery sheen in areas the moon would be beaming down (maybe that's what the white on her shoulder is but then you'd need more in the region cause the moon is pretty shiney XD ) It's a matter of trying to keep things from blending in TOO much.
And outside of all that, just be careful in choosing your shading. I notice that say, the hand on the chick that's closes to us has some dull shading, but none of the light seems to reach out there other than that hand. The floor and any objects that might be there are totally dark.
Once again, I had to really look to find some things to comment on, so this piece is really good. Any other things I could say would mostly be what ifs, like "what if the light was a warm color instead?" and stuff, so I'll spare you those (damn art classes lol) I hope to see much more wonderful works in your gallery, and I hope that some of the things I said have relevance and help you out n_n

Just one correction: please don't make a "chick" or "girl" out of Jerome XD He's male, believe me
And unfortunately there is no moon, just those stars and just this dim green light from the sci-fi-bed-something. It's written as it is written. And since this is a storyline illustration I have to stick to my story
(sorry, but I don't really care for art classes, since I'm completely self-taught
