Just saw this on the front page, browsing by, wanted to comment briefly, because I think it's shaping up to be great.

I'm not much of a "fanboy", I just happened to have just played the original Megaman again the other day, and I absolutely love when artists take their own interpretations of characters, especially making cartoon things look more realistic, in some sense.

The use of texture gives it a very nice, somewhat rough appeal, with those black lines and that background smoke. Your line quality gives it a great deal of character, it feels beaten up, and it certainly looks very sinister.

I suppose along with reprogramming them, Dr. Wily swapped out whatever eyes Light had given them before and put in evil-looking red ones

Anyways, I hope you do finish it. I think it has a great feel to it, and I love to see such characters re-envisioned, and put through the filter of your own style. Fun stuff.
