Description
I've been playing a lot of MineCraft since mid November and thought I'd show you my castle on one of my worlds.It's unfinished, Each corner tower reaches 20 blocks down below the surface into my mine networks.
In the center is the infinite well of water and I grow my own trees so I never have to leave for wood. Below the well (you can see stairs infront of it) is my portal to The Nether- which I've only used a few times, as there is really no point in going there unless you want light stone dust.

Easily enough, you press F1 to hide your HUD (heads up display) and press PrtScrn to save a shot. You'll find the file under the minecraft %appdata% folder

wait a sec, is that lava or flames? If its flames, how do you get them to stay lit?

Netherack is (or maybe was) a block that could stay lit on fire 100% of the time. It may have changed since the keep was built (honestly haven't been back to my Keep world) and I'm sure now that there is rain it would just dowse the flames of my flame moat.

I am impressed. All I have so far I have a 2-story house with some crappy little caves nearby to mine from, you clearly have been playing on that world longer than me

Why thank you- I did play it alot, but I want something bigger- a citadel maybe- like the white tower from LotR would be cool.

is this done with mining each block and crafting blocks or are you spawning them?

Each block was mined- no spawning. The wall is double thick in case of creeper accident, and some of the layers are stone texture- not cobblestone, by using the furnace to smelt them back to stone- Not sure how much you know about Minecraft so- thought I'd add in that little tip if you didn't know.
