Well they are all friends! They used to have a band. :') SPOILERS if you haven't played or experienced a lot of the game. Mettaton is Napstablook's next door neighbour, he used to be a ghost before Alphys put him into the body of a robot. In fact, during the Mettaton EX fight, if you get a certain amount of viewers before he decides to end the battle, it automatically ends and during the first call when they hang up, Mettaton nearly says Blooky.

That's really really nice of you to say but I've still got a ton to learn and I'm not actually happy with where I'm at. I'd love to be able to do a style like you with your lovely colour choices.
