Man where do I begin here? This is just brilliant. Your use of tones and shadows is intense without being overwhelming. And I am an avid chess fan, so that is a plus also.

This is a wonderful work, so good technicaly & with a strong catchy atmosphere. It just catch your eyes & you take pleasure to contemplate the strange serene scene. One of those scenes you'd like to witness in reality but that takes places & life only in dreams & under the fingers of artists.
I love the sepia tone of the picture - even after seeing so much sepia everywhere, a good made one is still really agreable - & the composition is just so well equilibrated. You can let your eyes go from main part to sides easily & it just helps taking the journey in the surreal dream you created. Maybe the grainy render of some parts could have been lightened... though it don't bothers me that much in the end.
Gorgeous work to conclude & I hope to see some more very soon

irgendwie cool... nur leider wirkt der turm arg unscharf ... leider

Die Kanten sind mit Absicht weichgezeichnet.
Scharf und eckig hat es nicht mehr richtig in die Wolken und somit zum Gesamtarrangement gepasst.
Rechts unten (innen) siehst du noch wie ein ungeweichte Kante mit den Wolken schneidet.
