SERGEANT'S LOG ENTRIESLog #1
We've received disturbing reports from several of our patrols over the last month.
The men have reported feeling as if they were being stalked while near the outskirts of our perimeter.
Several more have come forward saying they've spotted figures moving around in the snow who then vanish from sight when engaged.
It's not like the greenskins to shy away from a fight.
Log #2
A handful of our men have gone missing, though its much fewer than we'd normally lose to an Ork raid. Infact the Ork raids on our outposts have seemingly stopped altogether.
Maybe the greenskins finally got fed up with us and went to look for a better fight somewhere else.

There's been some rumours going around the men about an Inquisitor from the Ordo Xenos having been requested to inspect our ranks immediately by HQ.
I'm not sure what they expect to find here if the rumours are true. This planet is nothing but a barren hunk of ice, if it weren't for the Ork presence we wouldn't even be stationed here...
Now that i think of it, We haven't even seen a single Ork in months. Why would we need an Inquisitor?

We've just received orders that no one is to leave the barracks alone, and that the rumours are true and an Inquisitor is in transit with a small armada.
Several more patrols have also gone missing and an entire outpost has lost contact with us, and some of the men are acting quite strange, sneaking out after curfew and whispering amongst themselves.
I'm to lead a mission to investigate the silent outpost to see what's happened to them.

Upon arrival we found the outpost completely abandoned. There was sign of a skirmish but no bodies, and none of the outer defences were damaged at all. As if the attackers simply walked through the front gates.
The walls in the barracks and canteen were covered with heretical symbols and scribblings. The armoury was empty of weapons and ammunition, and had a large tunnel bored into its back-most wall leading down into the ice.
We made our way down the tunnel, and found a large opening, in its centre was a strange statue, clearly xeno in nature but none of this looks to be the work of the greenskins.
While searching the cavern i noticed one of my men staring at the statue and mumbling something as if he was in a trance. When called to attention he claimed he had blacked out.
I'll be making note of this to inform the inquisitor once they arrive.

By the Emperor, what have i done.
Upon their arrival i informed the Inquisitor of what my team had found at the outpost and what had happened there.
They immediately asked for the name of the man who had gone into the trance and once i had given it, pulled him to the side and executed him and several others.
The following night over a dozen of our men went missing, probably so scared to death of the inquisitor that they'd rather face the snowstorms.
Log #7
The inquisitor has assumed full command and placed everyone who went to the abandoned outpost under watch, aside from me.
They asked me to lead another mission back there only this time to destroy the remains of the outpost entirely aswell as the xeno shrine we found.
Along with that mission i was also informed that any guardsman we found along the way was to be executed immediately, under suspicion of xeno corruption.
We're leaving shortly, I have a bad feeling about all this.
