"Beetch."i wanted to try a few new coloring techniques and brush styles (as well as draw with paper and pen again) so i did a quick bit with Gogo gettin all up in the grill of Leesha, Andy's cousin. (I beefed up Gogo's arms again because I wanted more definition to practice shading on, and because i think it fits the "bully" m.o.) I'm still a n00b at coloring like this but it's pretty fun and more organic than my usual cut-and-fill style...
Since she's part of Andy's family, Leesha's effectively beyond Gogo's reach in terms of causing harm, but that don't mean they can't glower at each other. I love a good stalemate.

i dont understand a word after "hanging out at the gym" but i think she still looks good - very good (yep i got no promblem with woman mit muscles, up to a special point)

Gogo looks like she could punch through a wall and not feel it. The muscles are badass and really well defined. One thing...the colors you used makes it look a little washed out, especially in Gogo's hair. It looks like you just used darker and lighter versions of the base color for shading and highlights, for the most part...If you shift the hue as well as adding black and white it usually helps add more interest and depth.

What i did for coloring here was a flat layer and grayscale shading above that. Then I tweaked the grayscales to fit the color scheme below them. I think you're right that a shift in the hue might have added a bit more dynamic. Notes for next time

that explains it. and if it were black and white it wouldn't look weird at all. I've been trying to learn to color things in that painterly kind of way myself lately, and it definitely adds more interest; to start though i did a couple just black and white pieces to get used to the shading and value, and I think that helped as well.

I personally find this beefier, more ripped Gogo more appealing. It suits her personality so well.
Not to mention, buff chicks[read Gogo] (NOT BODY BUILDER BUFF) are hot.

Have to say, I love the colouring. Her hair may have come out a little too light with the lighting there, and her arms are slightly to sharply muscled, even for GoGo's standards.
The way you did shade it though, is awesome. I can't stop looking at it.

I enjoy the tension that seems to emit from this piece, like I can feel the heat being released from their conflict. I am sure if I was there I would taste electricity in the air, similar to what one tastes when lightning is about to strike!
