Game of Thrones- definitely not suitable for little wolves.You terrible father, Loki.
Re-watched some of the earlier episodes from Season 1, and the direwolf pups were adorable, they weren't dire at all, they were fluffy and sweet and everything is terrible now.

Morality: it is not because a cartoon is reported as children safe, that it is safe for children to watch.
I remember with shudders having taken my son to watch the dino flick thus spending half the movie explaining that it was very unlikely a volcano/earthquake/Tyrannosaurus Rex would suddenly burst in front of us and I would die. Some stories are not made for tender years including puppies and wolf-cubs.
Same goes for Bambi. It is not Uncle Walt who has to get up in the night because of ensuing nightmares.

Disney and Don Bluth (Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh is another example)- all absolutely terrifying in a way that Game of Thrones will never get near.

Dear Nan had simply forgotten that said Saints were originally real life people and led not exactly sainted lives.
Game of Thrones is pitiful (I suppose) I have not watched but if Bede is anywhere near Gregory of Tours: it is. The Greeks wrote lengthy tragedies.
Bah! Humbug! Read the lives of these people : Hollywood and weep.
Plus side: I had no nightmares. Down side: sainthood has lost a lot of appeal. How to become a saint: get a good PR agent!
