Description
Was working on an art trade when I got inspo for this so BOOM it’s here.The White Lion, having been the first one to be built, is infused with a lot of quintessence due to the research going on at that point. This was out of hopes that “The more quintessence we put into it, the more likely at least someone could match it and become its paladin.” But shocker that doesn’t work so now this lion just.... has a lot of quintessence.
Basically it’s paladin has to be one strong of mind and heart, otherwise the excess amounts of quintessence could begin a very slow spiral into madness.
Note: These arent rift levels of quintessence. Just a bit extra.

So what part of Voltron is the White Lion? I'm asking because I have a paladin with a new lion, and I can't figure out where I should put it.

Hehe, thanks for asking! The White Lion doesn't actually form Voltron with the others as it was built afterwards in order to be able to combat Voltron in case it ever fell into the wrong hands, but Zarkon destroyed Altea before any other lions could be built! White is supposed to be Black's opposite, forming the head of Voltron 2.0

I love the lighting in this piece, you excelled drawing the lion behind Roe, and The herself belongs in the Voltron world, your artstyle matching theirs pefectly with a hint of your own. Personally, Roe is my favorite out of all of your OCs. I feel like she's so well thaught out as a character, and has a close bond with the paladins (especially Shiro) that's just my thought on the piece and the Character overall. Keep it up, Hun!
