It's a miracle that this picture didn't get scrapped. I was completely willing to give up on it on more than a few occasions, but somehow I managed to take it to a somewhat presentable stage. I'm still unhappy with it, but I learned a good deal from the process, and I'm looking forward to starting something new <:Related content

Thank you! I was actually trying to take some inspiration from Sekiro, in terms of making her look intimidating. I think those are made by the same company, so youβre pretty much spot on.

I think MLP is great, but itβs really up to personal preference. Itβs something simple and cute with fun characters, so thatβs why I enjoy it.

I was wondering if photoshop was worth it, apparently so! I use a measly mouse and firealpaca, and I want more out of my artwork. And, I've always been turned off to the series...Because the ponies didn't look like ponies to me. I used to collect lps and mlp figures, and when they stopped looking like real horses and had that chibi face I was sad. The last mlp figure set I got was a little pony with some wigs and balloons. I think you can get why I stopped enjoying it lol. Then a couple weeks ago I heard the song discord and thought it was cool and edgy but then I found out it was a mlp song cause I mean "discord" I should have gotten the gist of things sooner... I might give the series a go, but at least I don't religously hate on the series like some people. I think as long as people enjoy something, let them have their fun if they aren't hurting anyone. Sorry this is really long.

I'd highly recommend getting your hands on a drawing tablet if possible. It makes making digital art a lot easier, and I'd say its quite essential for certain types of art.
And that's fair! I can understand that not everyone enjoys the newer designs. But I'm glad you might give the new series a try anyways ^^

Um.... Wow! I didn't expect this from you! Seriously you've made a big leap for doing this kind of scene. But I guess you are unhappy because you're not satisfied with the angle or you made too many mistakes? Or not enough details?
Whatever is/are the reasons(s), that piece still look epic and you should be still proud of your hard work on it.

Mostly Iβm unhappy with how unrefined and sloppy it looks. And the values are all wonky too, so Iβll have to do some more work in that area. But I appreciate the kind words, as always (:
