It's awesome how cheerful you drew him, and the pose is full of action, I know you're really good at drawing complicated poses, but this one looks challenging, specialy with the wings awesomely moving and the curved body, it really makes the drawing vivid. And yeah, this ilumination worked wonderfully, it gives the impression that he's in some kind of artificialy iluminated indoor place, like a stadium or a stage.

I just love that sketch of postion in full on detail, it's great to see this done! ^^
That position really has an exciting outlook landing on one paw as the rest pare off the ground with the face of course so cute and exciting ready for any that's in his way, the wings and tail fallowing the movement is amazing as well! The shading and highlights are spectacular! The two light sources aren't that bad it's a good use I have to say
