Notes on the preliminary design work I've done for the Capital Building of ... whatever they're calling their nation on Minecraft atm.
Some people on the Loading Ready Run [link] forum are working together on the City of Islands Minecraft server to make a, well, a nation, and I'd been looking for an excuse to design something rediculously ostentatious and large in the game and I also wanted to contribute.
These are just some notes and images of the basics. I've still got to do the floor layout, towers and other bits and pieces before it's finished, and then it's over to the good people on the server to start building! Exciting stuff.

Yeah that's cool, dude. That's what I drew them for.
Unfortunatley, I never got around to finishing them, so you'll have to get a bit creative with some parts to finish it off. Think of this as more a framework or shell, onto which you can build your own personalizations.
