Oy. I am quite amazed at that pic of Derpy.
Here come the pros: The manes, feathers and tail look very detailed and her pupils are quite authentic-appearing as well. Also, her pose is very funny and, yeah... Hence her name: Derpy. So, quite derpy. XD And it looks very original as well. What's even better: You added flares of the sun. And the shadings are well done.
Here come the cons: The lighting from the sun (aside from the flares I mentioned) is a bit too bright. That's all.
