...which is not only what gaara is saying, it's what the world says about this crappy picture.i just didn't want to not post anything for lee's birthday...so i slapped some really shoddy color on a super old picture...and...there you go. i'll probably move it to scraps later
because it totally suxors>< but i think it's funny and anyway it's better than nothing. i kind of like the color. i should play with that brush more.the joke comes from gaara's catchphrase in the game (which he also uses in his fight with lee)...in battle, it sounds all badass, but in more intimate situations...it's just...insulting
poor lee.as a random side note, it's actually the companion picture to "the trouble with dating gaara" ...I drew both sketches at the same time, and always meant to finish this one...and now...well, it's hardly finished, but at least it's posted

I don't uderstand the GaaraXLee thing, but this picture's really funny. Supposing that Lee, reknowned for his physical prowess, dexterity and stamina is underwhelming in the sack...that tickles me.
lol and Gaara wouldn't have any tact about it, either. He'd just be like, "Well that wasn't much, was it?" Somehow, in spite of the homoerotic act implied, this situation manages to still be in character for both of them. That...that is just really funny.

I disagree, I think GaiLee is practically canon, for how incredibly gay they are for each other. There's some serious NAMBLA action going on behind closed doors there. Hell, if you look for it, you can even see the disturbed looks on -other- characters' faces whenever Gai or Lee says something that just proves how totally broken in the head Gai has made that poor child.
In summation, I don't think it's for lack of technique, but merely the fact that Gai never had the heart to tell his prized pupil that he needed improvement...in bed. Ugh, my brain feels gross for even constructing that sentence. *shudder*
As for GaaraLee...I can't see anything to refute it. Gaara certainly spends a lot of time thinking about that time he wrapped Lee up in his sand. I bet they both say creepy stuff when they're doin' it though. Gaara, about his mother (that sand -never- leaves him, correct?), and Lee, about Gai-sensei.
I want to stop thinking about this now.

Ehh, the pedo thing just kinda hits me wrong, even with fictional characters. To each their own though. It has nothing to do with same-sex. It has everything to do with the fact that Gai and Lee both act like their respective roles in a Pedo-groomed-prey relationship. Based on real, actual pedo-prey relationships. Like Gai says something insane, and Lee hangs on every word. Meanwhile everyone within earshot is disturbed.
Rock Lee and Gai-sensei are pretty much the poster-couple for the North American Man/Boy Love Association (a real organization)...if they were from North America.
And I wound up in your gallery from searching 'Naruto' and the GaaraxLee pic came up. And it made me laugh.

ah~ no, actually, i totally understand an aversion to shota pairings. i'm not a big fan myself...although, my friends are working hard to "correct" that. i'm just a little squeamish about putting anyone under the age of 16 in those kinds of situations

Well, while I don't run in the pairing circles typically, I am familiar with the concepts as my girlfriend mucks about over at Y!gallery. What I mean is, I don't think I ever would have thought of it myself, but now that it's been made evident to me... let's see. I'll put it this way. I may not think they're actually gay for each other, per canon, but the relationship between the two characters has taken on a new dimension that I didn't necessarily notice before. And it's that particular quality which leads, in a slightly fangirl-extrapolated version of the world, to a yaoi situation.
Or, in more concise words (which I am somehow genetically predisposed against): I can totally see it.
