SONIC UNDERGROUND!!!! W00T!!!!!!!!!!ok..now that that's outta my system....yes, i was brought back to days of my childhood watching sonic underground by a great series of fics by the amazing so i went and downloaded all the little series songs and a bunch of pics and i decided to ungrade sonia and manic to be more like their brother...so i started with drawing manic in sa style!!! i spent the whole day working on this...most of the time simply debating what eye colour to give him....blue or green? blue or green? i finally settled on green, so that the triplets will have at least one trait in common if nothing else...even though manic's already fully green and doesn't need the extra...<3 he's a drummer like me!!! maybe that's why i took up percussion?? subconsciously??? but then again i didn't like him then..of course when you're a kid you like the hero/heroine of the same gender as you...so i loved sonia at the time..but now oddly enough she annoys me...but i shall still draw her..at some point..geeZ!!! i talk too much..i'll shut up now. SONIC UNDERGROUND!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!! Your the first person I have found EVER that colours Manic and Sonia's eyes the same colour as Sonic's. I do it for the same reason, they are triplets it should sgare some simularity, plus personally I think they look good with green eyes.

really? i don't see as many fan pics of sonia, and so i don't remember what colour they most often use...i just used green for the same reason you do. they're triplets, they should look somewhat a like! but recently, i've just been using blue for manic's eyes instead. i think it suits him better....with green eyes and green fur, there's too much of it, and it looks sorta weird...the blue softens his image a bit, i find. but i still would give sonia green. (man, deciding on their colours for these pics took me so long--i kept recolouring screenshots and comparing them to see what would look best--red eyes (like sonia's fur), green eyes or blue eyes. i kept thinking of patterns and stuff, but finally just settled on the green...)

Ah, the esoteric Sonic Underground stuff--that takes me back. I'm a little sketchy on the relationship to Sonic, though. Is Manic Sonic's brother?
Oh, and well-drawn too, especially the spiky hair!

yeppers!!! i remember the good old days of waking on schoolday mornings to watch it...*nostalgic sigh* yeah, manic is sonic's (supposedly) twin brother. the reason why i say supposedly is because there is much debate in the SU community over whether or not the triplets really are twins, blahblahblah...that's what i like to believe and it's what the english theme song says so that's too bad for anyone who disagrees with me.

thanks a lot!!! <3 took me a looooong time to study the colouring style to try to make it like that of sonic adventure/sonic advance...geez...it's really hard to do because it's so weird--you have to shade the shine!!! i just can't stand using it which i why i never really try...but i'm so proud of myself for doing it this time! *pats self on back*
