EDIT: Made quite a few edits, I'm hoping they aren't SUPER noticeable. Hoping it's more subconscious.
This is the digital version of:
Wow this took quiet a long time to do! I started this basically a couple days after the contest was announced.
I did the traditional version...realized it wasn't going to work with my ideas...finished the traditional version...then started on this gem and finished just moments ago!
I Looked at many eyebrows, bought cans and bottles of Dr. Pepper, and let random inspiration hit me! (Did some flowers from memory...they are very simple, but still alright

Other than that I would like to feature some people
These artists are amazing, and continually inspire me. I didn't use/reference any of their work. But whenever I would feel down or start lagging on my process I would visit their galleries and my stamina would be instantly restored

This is an extremely beautiful masterpiece, it looks very much like a mural. The fact that the Dr. Pepper is part of the girl's hair makes the piece very symbolic, and definitely would make a convincing ad. Just wondering, what programs/tools did you use to complete this picture?

I used photoshop cs5, wacom bamboo large tablet. Just used the lasso tool, eyedropper, basic hard brushes, smudge tool, and eraser.

wow, this is truly amazing! I like the textures and the contrast of color and the detail . The two things that really catch my eye are 1) the texture of the can , the shading and texture make it look like it's actual aluminum. (2) the textures!!!! there are so many textures there, it looks amazing! FAVS!

i especially love the eyes and values of the face.
this is an amazing concept; it's so cool how you made the dr pepper become her hair!
if anything, the only thing i would add would be more values in the hair to make it look more 3D.
your hard work really paid off!

Thank you, the whole process took 3-4weeks? But that's including doing the traditional one as well.
So this probably only took a week?
So in hours, probably, 15-20..for the digital.
I'm glad I took my time on this, it seems to have paid off

Oh I'm like that too! I tend to rush things >w< Sometimes I take ages to finish something because I'm trying to be patient and cautious so I keep taking breaks XD

This is a really beautiful piece. The colors are vibrant and joyful which really supports the "advertising" theme in it. The hair is my favorite part (I'd kill to have hair like that) and the bubbles are a great touch.

Excellent on all on all levels, the colours are magnificently vibrant, the shadow of the hair on the girls face is just right and not over the top, the can is extremely well done, the bubbles appear so real and the girls face is perfect, if I was the owner of Dr Pepper I would have this plastered all over the world.

Gorgeous work! The girl's hair and the Dr. Pepper flow together beautifully. I love how sparkly her eyes are and the not-quite-perfect circular shapes you gave each of the little bubbles. It gives them the feel that they'll pop if you touch them.
With all of the unique patterns and colorful designs within, this piece is certainly one worth seeing as a mural! I wish you the best of luck in the contest!
