Its my OC, and I've been meaning to name him for quite a while, but I generally suck at naming people; characters and everything and I've failed. He had a name that I put just becuase I needed something to call him, but hey, it seriously sucked. And I mean SERIOUSLY.I'm pretty much too embarassed to tell the name I had for him cuz it was the first word that popped into my head and that was from watching too much Yu-gi-oh XD....
So... its basically, please name him!!
English names are fine, Japanese names are also okay. Korean, of course, yes.
I know its not really much of a prize, but I am very willing to give a commission to someone who gives the name that I pick!!
!!!A bit of side info, if I must, is that it is a he... and I know he looks like a she but that was pretty much inside the plans. He's suppposed to have a really bad personality; high ego, low self esteem. Calls everyone in a very mean and obnoxious way, and just basically he thinks he the best in the world... But because he has a low self-esteem he usually sulks in the corner when nobody's seeing him.
Looking at the pokeball of course he's a trainer!! Skarmory, Steelix and Metagross are his main crew!!!And ... well... yeah he's an OC in a pokemon universe I did have a story and a plan for him which is OMG too embarassing to tell. I'll do when I'm ready, but yeah XD OMG I just feel really embarassed just by posting this pic. Its like shouting my deepest secrets in the middle of the road... or... well, yeah.
So the point is... PLZ help me ><

According his personality, I think that "Katashi"(which means "firm, hard") is a good name for him: he looks obnoxious just for his stubbornness, right?

Idk, but naming things are my strong point, so this would be easier if this was my character....
According to personality... perhaps Dalton, or Darius? D names are good for conveying egotism. Horus is also quite an attractive name.
As for Japanese names.... well, I just like the names Makiko or Moriko. Don't know how that'll fit him though.

Oh, geez... names. That's the hardest part of character building. But since he does looks a little feminine, I would say something "tricky" would be good. I looked up some names meaning "trickster", and here's what I found:
Loki
Wiley
Wylie
"Loki" is apparently a Norse trickster god, so apparently it's the best name for trickery.

Beautiful pic, his description and pose make me think a bit of Silver from 2nd Gen.
I really like this pure colors, I wonder if it's the pic or my screen but it seems like there is a very light kind of texture in his hair which looks interesting.
I wish I could help you for a name but I have the same problem with an Oc of mine(just with the difference that it works pretty good not mentioning a name at all) but I understand how you feel, it's the same for me whenever I try to tell someone about an OC or a story.
But I'm curious about the Yu-gi-oh inspired name(becaue I still love yugioh) XD

I wonder if "Hagane" can be used as a name, as far as I know it means "Fullmetal" which might fit but I'm not sure if that sounds like a name.

doesn't this word mean something like brotherhood or something other that has to do with the bound between brothers, I don't know the 5Ds series but it would fit with the series similiar to the friendship thin in the first seasons.
I wouldn't say it's a stupid name but it doesn't sound like a fitting one for this char.

Its a word that stands for the "bond" between friends. Mostly friends and crew. Not really a word used between family or brothers. Well, and yeah... I have to agree that it really doesn't suit this character very much XD..! I'm looking at all the goregeous names people have suggested and am considering all the great possibilities! ooh

I think Mercury sounds great for a character with this haircolor I don't even know why and it fits the steel team.
