So my friend and I were talking about how she can't get over how Phoenix suddenly became so mature and wise after the third game. I told her it was probably because Maya was absent the whole time. If she was there Phoenix would revert back to his dorky self.This is set during Dual Destinies and I imagine this happening with Apollo and the others listening to some case that Phoenix is discussing then Maya just happens to know the guy involved in the case and now she wants to look at it. I'm still just in Apollo Justice, but I'm already missing Maya!
As for Maya's design, I based it on Mystic Misty's picture on the scroll in Trials and Tribulations. The hair too was kinda like that, so I figured Maya would set her hair like that too since it was her mom.Β
Capcom please bring Β these dorks together again.

Well, at the very least it's basically confirmed she'll at the very least be mentioned in the next game judging by the fact of where it's taking place. That and we now have an anime coming out next year in five months, so I guess we got some things.
