Around an hour and a half, rocking out GIMP 2.4.6.
Combination of things here:
1) I knew I could do something shineyer than the nebula... thingy... in my gallery. Decided to nut up and prove it to myself.
2) Boredom while hanging out with family.
3) When's the last time I uploaded something? Like 2007? Seriously man.
4) Four's the actual big one... Working on an image... Its design and goal are super-secret as of now as I'm not sure I'll be able to get it done by when I'd like to. But this is part of a more detailed spacescape I'd like to do. I'll probably work on this more (more dust and glowey crap here and there, and I really only made one star big and shiney), but it's the background, I'm tried, and I'd rather go back and add things than have to try to take them out.

Right now for my big idea I've also got a planet done up. But I wasn't careful in how I did it, so right now it doesn't want to play nice with anything else. I think I can fix it without actually having to redo it (but heck, it took me an hour, whoop-de). But we shall see if this turns out half as neat as I'd like it to be. Probably won't, but hey, I surprise myself sometimes.
