my first attempt at freehand carving a mandala. ash body maple neck. this was a piece i was commissioned to carve and was a finished piece that i striped down and carved. it's since been painted a wine colored laquer. hope you guys like it

I like the mandala detail that you carved.
I don't think that I would have the patience to actually carve anything... I lack experience so just looking at this is somewhat intimidating but at the same time intriguing.
