Because it is way overdone in here and people still disrespect MNA by calling Roro the official VY2 and YuumaFor your information, Roro wasn't made to be VY2's avatar. He is an original character chosen to be an unofficial representation of VY2 by the judges of the contest, not the artist. Roro could have been in the place of Ring or Lui. The tags of the pixiv illustration proves it.
Not to mention that MNA has noticed how her character is treated and how this use can confuse vocaloid newcomers that VY2 is Roro, and begged to stop treating him as "the official image of" VY2. She prefers you to call him a character with VY2's voice, but not VY2 imself.
Yet the idiotic fans go all "For me Roro is Yuuma, newcomers can do whatever they want". No they fucking can't, we all went through the nasty newcomer phase were our headcanons had to match the most popular ones.

I second this so much. So even if we 100% agreed with this stamp, we're supposed to, just, view him as a floating sword with a voice, that for some reason doesn't want to fight but decided to be a dancer/singer? That image gets what pretty fast. just imagine the MMD videos

As I said on the wikia and have several times, even the ones using roro aren't actually using the version of him that was used by VocaFes/VocaNext as "Vy2". So the actual version used for VY2 unofficially isn't the one most people are using. ¬_¬

Okay, nothing grinds my gears more than the fact that people are saying, "Well, she shouldn't have entered the contest then".
Nobody knew that this was going to happen. She was blindsided and then all of a sudden her character became the unofficial face of VY2. Like, she wanted that? No, she didn't. Roro was intended to be a whole other VOCALOID because that's what the contest was for, not some thing that she wasn't informed about. It isn't fair for her and the least people could do would be respecting her wishes. =A=
She allows people to use him and call him unofficial, because that's what he is. But no, people like to call him VY2 Yuuma like it's the actual and official thing. It's still her character and she has her own rights and say into what she wants with him

Calling him Yuuma or VY2 is inconvenient as it clearly personifies him as VY2, not a character borrowing his voice from the voicebank. People can use him as a VY2 personification, but at least call him VY2 Roro or something like that.

Many of the people already said what I wanted to say when I read the description, so I'll just add that the Roro design will still forever be my VY2 design too xD And I'll continue calling this design Yuma, because Roro is a weird sounding name xD Because out of all the unofficial designs this one is the very best. No other matches VY2's voice. And well, if Manbou No Ane was so displeased about people calling this design VY2, she wouldn't keep illustrating her brothers' (as I understood? or is it hers? I got confused about this after some point) songs of VY2 using this design. THIS is exactly what makes everyone think that this design is one of the unofficial VY2 designs. And I'm happy about that xD because, once again, I love it as VY2's design ^_^

It's hard to believe that Roro isn't VY2 Yuma. I mean, why would MNA submit the design if she's (un)aware that people are going to call him VY2 Yuma after it's over? It's a contest about giving the VY2 voicebank an avatar, after all. I know that it's an unofficial, but still. Now, I don't know what to think. I mean, I always knew that the VY2 Yuma never had an official avatar, so I thought that maybe using Roro's would be a good alternative, but since I found out about this, I feel bad now because even thought I love his design and I think it works well with the official voicebank, it feels like I'm disrespecting his original creator by calling him that and I don't want to do that! I still want to call him VY2 Yuma, but I also want to call him Roro so I wouldn't be disrespectful. Is that okay of I do that or should I do something else?

1) It wasn't an unoffical contest. It was sponsored by yamaha, thus it was official. Roro and Kiku however, remain unofficial avatars because they were picked for the sake of the contest and nothing more. If they were official, we would have seen them in Yamaha's promotions.
2) It wasn't a contest to pick VY2's avatar, it was a contest to pick designs for two new vocaloids. The VY1 and VY2 parts of it were a small extra part by the judges. The illustrators submitted designs for new vocaloids only, not designs to match VY1 and VY2.
3) If I were you, I would call him Roro.

Well, is it okay if I call him VY2 Yuma and Roro? I mean, I would still call him the name that he wasn't originally suppose to won, but I would also call him by his "birth" name at the same time. To me, I think the name, "VY2 Yuma," is a code name of some sort while his real name, "Roro," is his secret name. I'm also notifying some of his fans about his real name, but I don't know if I'm doing a good job....

This is two months old, but anyway. The artist said it's okay to view him as a character borrowing his voice from VY2's voicebank, just not as VY2 himself. If it is headcanon about aliases, I guess it goes on a kinda grey area, though I am not very sure.

To be fair, I never found the Roro design all that fitting for VY2. In my headcanon, I always thought that a VY2 avatar would be more in line with a good deal of VY1 fanart, with him being depicted like a traditional-looking Japanese boy.

When I first saw Roro (before I knew he was called Roro) I thought it was some random design for Yuuma and I definitely didn't agree with it because I just don't think it suits him (I've always imagined him with crazy black hair and wearing a dark blue and black hakama) Then I found out that loads of people thought it was his "official" design and that just made me even more annoyed.... And I did a bit of a rant about Roro as well as the ZOLA project who I hated when I first saw and heard them, and the flatness of Galaco's voice (which I have kind of got over now) and everyone literally bashed me for ranting about Roro....
It's kind of the same when everyone said CUL was Mizki.... before CUL got her own voice.

also fun fact: RoRo is mostly used in cover songs in overseas fandoms like here,very rarely in any original song....while japanese people uses in original songs on nico nico douga the other design or no design at all...either they respect the artist or they dont like RoRo

Yeah, I know this. But, actually, there are some songs where he has Roro design and I think that's not bad at all. And I don't know why Manbou no Ane isn't satisfied when she, personally, submitted Roro design in contest for VY2's design x.X If she don't like that people are regarding Roro design as VY2's, why did she even made it like this? I'm just saying that you could be a little nicer about it. (But honestly, I can't see you obviously, so you might not have been trying to be mean, but that's just how it comes off to me)
And even still, many people see Roro as Yuuma, like me, and really it's just habit to call him Yuuma. If that person didn't want everyone to call him Yuuma or VY2, they really shouldn't have entered the contest (regardless of what the contest was for)

There are more serious reasons why VY2 and many other vocaloids will never officially appear in Project Diva
1) Project diva features strictly characters belonging to Crypton Future Media. Other appearances are collaborations due to popularity either with set modules (Gakupo, Gumi with one or two songs each) or DLC content (Teto, with no songs at all)
2) VY2, despite being made by Yamaha, is vastly unpopular compared to Miku and the other characters featured in PD games.
3) In the almost impossible case VY2 officiallyis featured, popular artists would be commissioned to draw their own versions of VY2 for the songs that will be featured in the game. This is the concept of VY2 anyway.
Compared to the other reasons, the lack of design is the weakest wall between VY2 and Project Diva.

I am a big PD fan and love what they do
but I also think that it is a bit... mh.... boring? ... you know, with the time and they are only use always the same vocaloids (it is rare that a new one come in)
nothing new... every time the same faces... songs they take only because they are popular and we know they inside out...
I wish they would take a few new Vocaloids and new songs we didn´t know from youtube and niconico
in the end PD as awesome as it is, it´s every game the same
