The Final Architecture Trilogy is a series by Adrian Tchaikovsky and I would 100% recommend for anyone who enjoys smart sci-fi, action, a sprinkle of adventure, with core pillars of post apocalypse tragedy and a rag-tag crew of spacers caught up in all the chaos.

I mean guys - c'mon - a rag-tag crew of spacers should sell anyone on a series and this one especially with very diverse characters.

Solace is a member of the genetically enhanced - in some instances 'superior' - space race of women who were borne of the idea from a scientist who wanted to genetically refine humans into a perfect society. this perfect society morphed into the Angels who are humanities Sword and Shield against The Architects. The Parthenon are a sorority of women who all look very alike (with small discrepancies to define them) and are trained as soldiers but they aren't mindless - they have interests and entire space gardens when the young Parthenon are raised and taught.

Solace herself is loyal, determined, and ready to sacrifice herself for the cause of the continued existence of humanity. She will put others first and always wants the best at heart.
She has a trusty side arm which gets unceremoniously dubbed Mr Punch by our rag tag space crew Captain: Rostand.
