We have a few Frangipani trees over the road from where we live. White and pink. They got blown over in the last cyclone, Cyclone Yasi. The council came afterwards, and propped them up and they're back to being beautiful again. People from local restaurants and cafes pull up in their cars and take a few when they're in flower - to decorate their tables and create a tropical atmosphere. I took a couple of cuttings when they looked very sad after the cyclone and put them in a pot until they established themselves. I then put them in the garden where they are doing well. These flowers are from both trees. They have an amazing smell.
