The bleachers buzzed with excitement as Jacey's soccer game was about to begin. The four girls, along with Sabrina, found their spots among the crowd, positioning themselves to get the best view of the field. Jacey, clad in her team uniform, waved at them from the warm-up area, her determination shining through.

As the game kicked off, the energy in the stadium soared. Katie, Vanessa, and Claire became completely engrossed in the match, their cheers blending with the cheers of the other spectators. They fervently supported Jacey, their voices rising in unison as she showcased her skills on the field.

Meanwhile, Brooke, though still watching the game, found herself drawn into a lively conversation with Sabrina. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, a mix of laughter and genuine interest. Brooke's eyes sparkled with curiosity as Sabrina shared tidbits about her past as a model in her previous city.

"You know, Brooke, I've noticed something interesting," Sabrina remarked, her eyes twinkling mischievously, looking up and down Brooke's outfit.

"What's that?" Brooke asked, perplexed.

"Well, I don't know. I don't mean to be rude, but I was just wondering why you always plan so many different outfits that far in advance, like I heard from your friends that you planned this outfit now, you have a completely different one with a completely different style planned for tomorrow and so on, instead of sticking to a look."

Brooke's cheeks flushed slightly, a mixture of surprise and self-reflection crossing her features. "Well, I guess I just like having everyone awaiting my next outfit, you know, to stand out! It's a part of my self-expression and it gives me something to flaunt, always having different clothes to show off."

Sabrina's smile widened, her voice warm with understanding. "I can see that, and you do it so effortlessly. But from my experience, it's also important to have a signature look, something to be remembered by. I always wear my jumper and heels so everyone knows it's me, no one else would wear that to school and pull it off like I do, so I wear it consistently in order to be recognized. You'll be lost in the fold if you change your style too often, everything will just kind of melt together in everyone's mind and it won't click for them that it's you every time with the different styles, like it does for you and I, you know, the fashion icons of the world" she poked Brooke as she finished speaking, giggling a little bit.

Brooke's eyes widened with intrigue, her curiosity piqued. She leaned in closer, eager to hear more. "What do you mean?"

Sabrina leaned back, taking in the atmosphere of the game. "Well, back in my old city, as a model, I've seen so many different styles and trends. I wanted to try all of them, which led to me coming off as confused and experimental. When I started wearing my signature look, everyone started to see me more and complimenting me on how much I focus on detail, which is another perk of having a signature style, you can really hone in on the details and perfecting your look, rather than overhauling your outfits every time.

Brooke's mind raced with thoughts, contemplating Sabrina's words. It was as if a veil had been lifted, revealing a new perspective on her own sense of style and self-expression. As the game intensified and the minutes ticked by, Brooke's attention shifted back to the match. The cheers of the crowd intensified, matching the escalating excitement on the field. Sabrina, too, turned her focus to the game, her genuine interest in the outcome shining through. As the final whistle blew, announcing Northend High's victory, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause. Jacey's classmates rushed onto the field, congratulating her on a game well played. The other three Summerside girls joined the jubilant celebration, their cheers blending with the collective joy. Brooke, however, found herself lost in her own thoughts. Sabrina's words lingered in her mind, challenging her perception of what it meant to be stylish and noticed. She watched as her friends celebrated, a bittersweet feeling washing over her. As the girls regrouped after the game, sharing their elation with Jacey, Brooke couldn't help but feel a tinge of self-doubt. She wondered if her relentless pursuit of fashion and attention had overshadowed her true self. Deep down, she knew there was more to her than just the outfits she wore.

Later that night, Brooke lay in her bed, the room cloaked in the stillness of the pitch black environment. Moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow upon her restless figure. She tossed and turned, the events of the day replaying in her mind like a persistent melody. Sabrina's words echoed through Brooke's thoughts, each syllable resonating within her. She couldn't escape the weight of her own self-reflection. As she stared up at the ceiling, her mind danced with images of herself, meticulously planning her outfits, curating her new appearance for each day, and the realization struck her like a bolt of lightning. She had always prided herself on being the best dressed among her friends, believing it was her ticket to being noticed and admired. But in the midst of Sabrina's effortless charm, she couldn't help but question her own motives. Did her relentless pursuit of fashion inadvertently make her seem arrogant and aloof? Did she inadvertently overshadow her genuine self with the need for constant external validation? In her mind's eye, Brooke replayed the image of Sabrina's attire. Everything went together so seamlessly. Brooke knew in her mind that Sabrina would wear something similar tomorrow, and no one would question her or pay any less attention to her. Brooke thought about how foolish she was for switching up her style every day, she was so far behind in perfecting a signature look, if she was just less insecure... like Sabrina, she could've figured this out years ago. As Brooke reflected on the hours spent selecting her outfits, she couldn't help but feel a sense of exhaustion wash over her. The weight of her self-imposed expectations began to feel burdensome, suffocating her true essence. She wondered if she had been missing the mark all along. The minutes turned into hours, and Brooke's mind continued its relentless dance. Sabrina's effortless allure began to cast a shadow over Brooke's own image, and she couldn't help but question her choices. Eventually, fatigue crept into Brooke's weary body, its embrace lulling her into a fitful slumber. Her thoughts continued to swirl in the recesses of her dreams, creating a vibrant tapestry of doubts and realizations. As she surrendered to sleep, Brooke's mind lingered on the image of Sabrina, clad in her captivating attire. The comparison between them seemed stark, Sabrina seemed effortlessly gifted at cultivating her brand, whereas Brooke came across desperate and trying too hard.

In the depths of her dreams, Brooke hoped to find answers. She racked her brain for any ideas to help her figure this out fast. A signature style... clearly she was lacking it, and she only knew one person who had that answer. Sabrina! Sabrina's signature style was sleek, elegant, already figured out. As the night drew on, and Brooke's slumber grew deeper and deeper, Sabrina's look grew more and more appealing, it was perfect! It was what Brooke was looking for all along. Her subconscious knew that when she woke up tomorrow, she had inspiration from her new fashion idol, and she was going to stick to it forever, just like Sabrina.
