Throughout the day, Jacey, Katie, and Brooke, now sporting matching blonde hair and dressed identically in Sabrina's signature style, began experiencing a turn of events. People mistook them for Sabrina wherever they went. The similarity in their appearance had reached such a level that it was difficult for others to differentiate between the real Sabrina and her devoted followers. At first, all 5 girls found it amusing. They giggled and exchanged glances as strangers approached them, thinking one of the Sabrina doppelgangers were really Sabrina. It felt exhilarating to be associated with their idol in such a tangible way. The attention and admiration fueled their obsession even further.

However, as time progressed, Claire began to feel increasingly uncomfortable with the constant misidentification of her friends. They were individuals, and now it seemed that all of them were starting to lose their sparks that made them who they were. Brooke was no longer her fashion forward self, Katie was always found right behind Sabrina awaiting her approval and less like the leader she used to be, and Jacey hadn't touched a soccer ball in almost a month now. Even Veronica was right behind them on that slippery slope. It bothered her that people couldn't recognize her friends as individuals, that their identities was being overshadowed by their emulation of Sabrina. Unable to shake off her unease, Claire sought out Sabrina during a break between classes. She found her sitting alone in the courtyard, scrolling through her phone. Taking a deep breath, Claire approached her with a hesitant smile.

"Sabrina, can I talk to you for a moment?" Claire asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Sabrina looked up from her phone, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Of course, Claire. What's on your mind?"

Claire fidgeted with the strap of her backpack, gathering her thoughts. "Well, it's just... I can't help but notice my friends losing themselves in your image. It was fun seeing them inspired, but now it's just gone too far."

Sabrina listened attentively, her expression thoughtful. "I understand why that could make you feel uncomfortable, Claire. But remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. People mistaking them for me shows how well they've embraced my style and persona. I almost feel insulted you haven't followed suit."

Claire nodded, processing Sabrina's words. Defending herself, she spoke up again. "I suppose you're right. It's just... I don't want to lose sight of who I am in this obsession. I want people to see me as Claire, not just a copy of Sabrina."

Sabrina smiled warmly, her voice gentle. "Claire, being mistaken for me doesn't diminish your uniqueness. You're still your own person, and your true friends will always recognize that. Embrace this as an opportunity to showcase your individuality within the admiration you have for me."

Claire's eyes brightened, a newfound excitement filling her. "You're right, Sabrina. I should be flattered by the recognition and use it as a chance to express myself as the Sabrina I need to be! Thank you for helping me see things from a different perspective."

With newfound determination, Claire left the courtyard feeling reinvigorated. She understood that being mistaken for Sabrina was not a loss of identity, but an opportunity for her and all her friends to showcase their individuality within the confines of their shared admiration.

By next week, both Claire and Veronica were dressed like Sabrina, talked like Sabrina and acted like Sabrina. The Summerside Girls looked more like the Summerside Sabrinas. There was only one more thing to do to make that permanent, and Sabrina knew it too. At last she had squashed the individuality of the 5 friends. Katie's leadership was long gone, Veronica was only as good in school as Sabrina allowed her to be, Claire was more confident in being the center of attention around others and being a little more selfish, Jacey had lost all interest in sporting events, and Brooke had submitted to the idea of following Sabrina's every outfit choice meticulously. They each had dyed their hair blonde to match Sabrina and dressed in Sabrina approved clothing. At last, the girls had lost to Sabrina's mind game. Only one part left to truly conquer the girls' minds...

End of Part 5. (The last part will be a short epilogue)
