In the darkness,Alone,
Scared,
Crying.
Wanting it all to go away.
In the darkness,
Alone,
Yet,
Something makes a noise.
In the darkness,
Not alone,
But,
Very scares,
Of what may be lurking.
In the darkness,
Not alone,
Scared,
Very scared,
Footsteps heard all around.
In the darkness,
Surrounded,
Trapped,
Scared,
Not able to see what or who is around.
In the darkness,
A blinding light,
But,
Only for an instant,
Blinding me entirely.
In the darkness,
Eyes once adjusted to it,
Now completely blind.
In the darkness,
More noises heard,
Feet shuffling,
Scared,
Very,
Very scared.
In the darkness,
Scared of the unknown,
Something grabs my arm,
Pulls,
I resist.
In the darkness,
Fighting for my life,
Fighting against the unknown force,
Kicking,
Screaming,
But nothing comes out.
In the darkness,
Being dragged against my will,
Not knowing where I am going,
Being dragged into the unknown.

very nice work, i love how to tone of the work is reflected in the number and length of the words. its as much a visual art piece as it is a brilliant poem. cant wait to see the second part. ^)_^
