Vanita Has just begun her journey with the Caravan as the Kindred Hunter!Her journey will be perilous with many monsters! However, She is not alone! She is later joined by her valued partner Flayra!
And the guildmarm Yusiffie!
Together they will fight monsters! Craft weapons and armors! And Discover the secrets of the frenzy virus!
I had a lot of fun drawing this, she's currently wearing the starting clothing of MH4U and wielding a Iron Greatblade. Some pretty weak gear but soon after many hunts of monsters she will be decked out with the best gear and the flesh of the monsters she slays!.
Few things tho i finished Vanita before i did the background so yeah the lighting is wrong but idc lol i love how this came out XD i halve assed the background anyway lol
it's got a bit of mix of hard shade and soft shade
i can't wait to draw her in more armors and stuff too ;3 and maybe later my fav armor the kirin armor <3

Ooh, Monster Hunter Art! This stuff gets me every time, and much so when the character looks this good.
I personally would recommend the insect staff to her; Believe it or not, even the first staff is overpowered; The sharpness is pretty much the only thing you'll want to keep an eye on, because red extract.

I was always very fond of the great swords for their ease of use (only three attacks, I think two of which could be charged) and raw upfront power. I could cut down the 'dromes real quickly with one. ^~^

Are Gaviels the musical horn weapons? I only played MH on the PSP (Monster Hunter Freedom Unite), and the last time I played that was.... Too long ago to remember, so I'm rusty on the weapon types.

No, Insect Glaives are new, they were just introduced in MH4U. They're like staffs that allow you to jump and mounts onto monsters with ease. You also have a flying bug on your arm that'll attack and extract red, orange, green or white extracts from monsters depending on what body parts you send it to.
