For some reason this reminds me of the anime The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. It's [your artwork] a beautiful concept and elegantly executed.

I think the message is there and it is a rather beautiful piece. There isn't much on the technical side of things to explain here. You're at a skill level that I feel you can understand what went right and wrong. But! What I would like to mention about this piece is the orientation of the image.
While I understand it is a reflection I feel the orientation of the piece isn't very strong at this angle. Try bringing this image into a photo viewer and rotating it 180 degrees. I think that alone is a huge step up. As it is right now I don't feel the reflection is strong enough on its own like it is. What we as the audience are supposed to take from this is that it's the reflection of the gray world and that that girl's feet is the real world so to speak. But since there is so little of that gray girl prevalent in the image the main focus is on the reflection instead. The reflected colored girl takes up about 80% of the image yet it's still treated as a secondary element with its order of importance to the composition. I feel for these reasons it would greatly improve the overall readability of the image if it were simply rotated 180 degrees. I feel it would also still read the same way as well and tell the viewer that the gray girl is the real version fo the girl and not the reflection due to the droplets scattering the water.

Thanks a lot for such detailed critique! I've considered that the reflection is not strong enough on its own, however I tried to include as little of the "real one" as possible in the drawing. Maybe Β in the end it didn't work out as I planned. Nevertheless, I'll defintely try harder next time!
