In attempt to alleviate some stress, I had a go at the next console I had planned: Ye Olde Dreamcaste! Ah, now here's a great machine. And whilst I always wondered why the hell Sega switched from their standard black to the off-white finish of the DC, it sure makes it easier to recreate.
This is a work in progress, still need to finalise some proportions, create the controllers, etc. This is pretty much to-scale with the Sega Master System 2 I made way back when, make of that what you will.
Oh, and if you're wondering why the swirl logo is blue, this is the PAL version. As I live in Australia.

This is a really nice piece of art. I'm giving it :fav: for two reasons. The shape is perfect, and I have fond memories of the Dreamcast (also had a PAL one, 
I like the soft border, it suits the image. It's very good, I can see not many flaws. Only thing I might look at is shading the side of the top (nearest the logo) to show the contour when it dips down.
I'm watching also, will look forward to the finished version with controllers! Don't forget the VMU!

I am in awe of this piece. Smooth shading and dithering on the edges. And whilst it is still unfinished, I am sure the final product will be equally as good. Thus, a fave
