☆The Nook☆
I often have the urge to escape into a nook like this, where i don’t have to worry about the outside world. I’ve been playing a lot of Zelda on the switch and it’s been giving me that warm feeling of comfort like when i was a kid playing on my gameboy. My favorite games were all those that were heavy on adventure and exploration - there is nothing like the wonder of getting sucked into a new world. I want to be able to convey that wonder in my art, too.
Which games were your favorite as a kid? And for you artists, which games had the most influence on your art?

I sadly didn't have a console when I was a kid, but when I got my first gameboy I was in love with Pokemon, Kirbys Dream Land and Super Mario World! Especially thinking about Kirbys Dream Land gives me feelings of nostalgia...so I really get where you're coming from with this picture :0

Ahh Kirby is so good! I never got to play the classic games, but I was obsessed with Kirby tilt 'n tumble on gameboy. It was my first console, so I have a really fond memories of nintendo games. = )
