For the past few weeks I've been using the majority of my free time trying to complete a LONG overdue request for Matrixwing . Part-way through working on it I experimented with a border, and I thought it looked really nice so, with her permission, I have decided to share it here.

Now keep in mind this is not the final product Matrixwing had in mind. I just personally thought it looked really good at this stage and wanted to showcase it on my DeviantArt. The final one will be posted once it is completed and approved by her, and I have high hopes of it turning out well. Assuming I can figure out how to do some kind of shading. Shading in a vector program like Illustrator is pretty new territory for me, so I'm expecting a lot of trial and error with these final steps, but I'm going to do my best to pull it off.
