A book bound in the hide of a young red dragon. The signature and best piece I have yet had the pleasure to work on. This and its twin were a fantastic commission st that I spent roughly 12 years (part-time) learning to build. The final result was absolutely worth the time.

Everything was hand tooled, cut, dyed, and riveted. Each cover is a single sheet of 13oz vege-tan leather with a lot of TLC put into it to create a very attractive scaling that feels even better than it looks. The hinge is a 9oz vege-tan strip of leather riveted tight into place on a 3 inch wide spine. The shoulder strap is a 1 inch wide 12oz belt with a 3 inch wide shoulder pad, and floating sheath for a hand forged steel letter blade. The guts are filled with canvas wrapped dividers with imbedded magnets for holding True Dungeon tokens, locked to the spine via two 1-inch steel 3-ring binders.

I'm planning on having another together for Gencon to act as a display piece and keep my portfolio in. I can't wait to work on more of these.
