Description Princess Bubblegum and Flame Princess from Adventure Time!

I've noticed that there is a bit of a division in the Adventure Time on account of these two ladies and their apparent emerging love triangle with the young hero Finn. So which princess do you side with?

And I wonder what Princess Peach would look like using Adventure Time's design style? She is Princess Toadstool, after all...

This looks cool.

But I've always been a Finnceline fan and I always will be.

As cheezburger said, there isn't a true triangle since PB is (currently) not interested in getting Finn. Though (at least according to the storyboards for the episode), she does admit that seeing Finn with Flame Princess is hard for her to watch (she denies that it's jealousy, but I wouldn't use that as confirmation considering how popular lovers in denial is).

Whether or not there's an actual triangle, the way the story was structured was to at least give that impression, since [SPOILER AVERTED].

But BG's response to Jake's teasing could almost go either way.

Firstly, there is no love triangle because PB isn't competing for Finn.
Secondly, WHY ARE THEY SO MONOCHROME? o_o

Thirdly, great job!

Thanks! But whether or not there is a love triangle hasn't stopped some fans from proclaiming their support for one girl or the other for a pairing. The episode just served to tease that kind of situation, so I'm just interested in seeing how it all develops later on.

I'm not well versed in coloring, to tell the truth, as this was mostly a basic color applied over a black and white painting, so there wasn't much variation in terms of actual tone and lighting. BG gets a bit of lighting applied to her back, but little else. This was a pretty fast work, to be honest, maybe 6-8 hours tops? My personal skill level's not that high, since there are many others who could do so much more in much less time.

Still, I'm glad you liked it!
