Drew this after picking up Marauders #1. Loving the pirate theme, and there's nothing like a drunk Kitty, er Kate.With more than a little Katyana subtext in the... text!
This was based on an old convention sketch by Adam Hughes. Look up "Adam Hughes Jack Sparrow Sketch" on Google Images, and you'll see the original. I felt the joke reference was fitting.

^...and by "Original", I mean I drew that up myself from pencils to finishes, no tracing, just working off the visual reference. Did I need to make that clear? Just needed to cover the bases, I suppose...?

Speaking of Illyana... pity she's out in space right now and doesn't seem to back on Earth anytime soon. It would have been nice to see 'Yana has Kate's Red Bishop. I miss the interaction of those two. Doesn't matter if its any subtext 'tween them or just as best friends, they have a great chemistry and greater history together
