Description
This is actually a painting of a friend dressed up as Jubilee of the X-Men (is she still part of the team, even in a reserve capacity? I've lost touch...).Originally a black and white line piece, I added this special colored version. Special in the sense that I did my best to make the colors stand on their own without the actual line art.

Lucky for you I do know what she's been up to so far. She is currently the leader of an all female X-men team trying to save the world or something and it involves a baby. In other words she finally made team leader and is currently in the comicbook again..Now for the bad news. there are rumors that marvel is rewriting her as a mutant who has vampire-like powers among the other crazy rumors running around about her including getting back her paffs but no word if marvel has regained any of it's sanity and just turn her back into the normal non-vampire firecracker we know and love but you gotta love her new look.

After MONTHS of waiting, I was finally able to pick up that issue. Haven't been reading any of the related news, just the preview art, so haven't heard anything or saw anything in that issue that would indicate that Jubilee would be the leader of that team. Still, the issue was just an introduction to the story, so whatever crucial setup to deal with the crisis would prolly happen in #2.

she no longer has her sparkler powers, she is a full fledged Vampire; dressed in all black like the Omen!

I would imagine having her "Paf's" would have been detrimental if you also happen to be a vampire...

No PAFS, she lost those only about 200 mutants remain Scarlet Witch took away the powers of the others. Xavier is not a mutant anymore either. Marvel hates me.

I remember her now being mentioned as being one of the mutants depowered as a result of M-Day.
And Marvel doesn't hate you. They're just afraid that if they stick to certain established roles with their characters, that their stories would start becoming too repetitive and formulaic. And maybe redundant.

Yes, she is currently in the team (Cyclops's X-Men, to be exact, based in Utopia). Full-fledged member.
