Yup, there was once a time ALL the turtles wore red headbands.Quick digital sketch. Character and background all on one layer in grayscale, then used a Color layer to add colors.

When I see a red bandana I always think of Raph, but you're right, they had red bandanas in the original comics!

I also liked the fact they had times when they weren't even wearing any of their pads and belts. You could still recognize them by their personalities. There was even a scene where Mikey was wearing an apron that said, "Kiss the Chef"!
