Description
Another progress shot for my Hope fanart piece. Having quite recovered from my recent stiffness in my right arm, I was able to add quite a bit more to the piece. I added the flames, and tightened up the shapes on the character's body, as well as adding more to the background rubble as well. I'm still in the process of finishing up the rendering on the character, so I still have to fix up the lighting coming from the flames. This shot is missing the heavy ink outlines and sketch textures on the character. I may have to fix those up so that they compliment the character more, rather than become too distracting. I'm also considering adding a texture to the leg armor as well. I also need to paint up the bit of cloak that you can see behind her body and leg, as well as her arm armor and wrappings.
Any additional comments and suggestions you can provide are definitely welcome! I think I'm already doing everything I can do on my own, so I'll appreciate anything that can help me bump this piece up to the next level!

I like the flame effects and the reflection of the flames on the rocks on the top!
Maybe you should give another tone to the rocks that are at the bottom right, they are near the flames and should not be purple like this, the color of the flame should change visually the color of the rocks, they should be more brown, I think ^^

I started on the lighting on the lower rocks, giving them more of a reflective glow from the fire. I haven't done much on the figure yet, since I'm still polishing up my rendering of her details, mainly getting rid of as much of the original pencil as possible!
