Description
”Get. Ready. To FLY!!!”For those who don’t get it, Tekken 7’s Josie Rizal is a Filipino girl (Pinay) who utilizes Muay Thai as her fighting style.
As pointed out below by , Josie’s fighting style is actually Eskrima. Based on the Tekken Wiki, the style is closer to “Eskrima-based Kickboxing”, while the official Tekken site only refers to her as being an aspiring kickboxer.
Personally, I’m aware of both Eskrima (autocorrect keeps insisting on ‘Eskimo”, gaddamit...) and Arnis, but mainly their primary armed versions. I do know that they have their own unarmed variants (because an armed combat style that does not account of the possibility of being disarmed is just dumb), but Josie’s utilization of kickboxing makes it closer to the Eskrima variant known as Yaw-Yan.
For those more familiar with Tekken’s history and mechanics, Josie borrows much of her current moveset from Bruce Irvin, who DOES utilize Muay Thai. Because of this, I opted to refer to this when creating the title for this piece. I just can’t resist the fun of word play.

So much for the short description...

Your style is really close to "Glauco's" and "Shamo's" Tanaka Akio, lovely.

Her fighting style is not Muay Thai. It's "Eskrima".
