Just realized that the second bit of fanart I did ALSO deals with a returning character. After Sakura made her comeback in Street Fighter V, of all people I go with, I end up with Jean Grey, her full adult version (looong story) who not only makes her return to the X-Men in X-Men: Red, but also makes her NINTH appearance in my gallery. (That’s not counting crossover gimmicks and evil demon clones.)

To be sure, I’ll likely have another pic of Jean with her new costume, but I had to draw her at least one more time in her 90’s Jim Lee costume. Funny story: due to the limitations of the coloring at that time, depending on the scene, it would look like Jean was wearing more of REALLY skimpy one-piece swimsuit than a full bodysuit. Though I guess that was part of the intention of the design?
