Description

"Come now-- don't be shy..."

This was a joke that was in my head from the moment I heard about the casting for The Hobbit, in that Benedict Cumerbatch and Martin Freeman would be playing Smaug the dragon and Bilbo Baggins, respectively.  Now that The Desolation of Smaug is coming out in several weeks, what better time to do this?

I haven't done any proper comic work in quite a while, and this is the first time for me to really do a page digitally.  So this was quite challenging, and it felt really good to finish the work.

For those who don't get the joke, watch the first meeting of Holmes and Watson in the first episode of BBC's Sherlock.  Internet's a bit laggy, so I couldn't find a proper clip at the moment.

The Sherlock/Hobbit crossover jokes are going to be epic. And this one is already one of the epicest.
