PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NINTENDO! BRING ZERO INTO THE NEXT SMASH BROS.! Preferably the Megaman Zero series Zero but STILL! We have Megaman so we need Zero to back him up!

They do that for a lot of characters. I mean, think of the Pokemon series and Fire Emblem.

Pokemon and Fire Emblem are NINTENDO games though, so they can get away with using multiple of THEIR characters. MegaMan, Sonic and Snake on the other hand, are Capcom, Sega, and Konami games, and they cannot get away with using multiple characters from other companies game series.

It's actually NINTENDO's choice to add characters, since they ARE making the game.

But they would need special PERMISSION to use third party characters for their game, they cannot just go "Hey let's use Master Chief from Halo without 343i's permission" that would lead to lawsuits and possibly cancelling the game.
