One of my personal favorite ocs is appearing in our

Name: Shirotsuki (Some of her friends will call her by the nickname ‘Shiroi’)
Age: 17

Wt: 108 lbs. (She’s physically lighter since she has wind magic, and it ‘floats’ her in the air a bit. Remember that weight is the force of gravity on an object and not their mass)

Abilities: Turning into a wolf, using wind magic, and being able to revive the dead

Likes: Tizuka (she doesn’t completely like him because of the whole wanting to kill Myui thing, but she certainly doesn’t hate him); her mythical buddies Shadow and Blaze; Suizo who happens to be her old friend; creatures with wings and other mythical animals (as well as most other animals with the exception of reptiles); cooler temperatures; friendly and nice people; nighttime

Dislikes: men and other humans (she’s afraid of people if she doesn’t know them); conceited and/or malevolent people; interrupting others and bothering them; Blaze’s need to set everything on fire; insects; caves and tight spaces; and dying

Favorite food: venison

Wanted to (Reason for Tizuka picking her as an NPC): Since spring is the season where ‘things come back to life’, Tizuka decided to pull in a jinsei orb user which would be Shirotsuki. She can revive the dead if you ask her to, but it does have some limitations concerning time.

Goal in life: To be a tailor and get to make fancy clothing

The Jinsei (or Life) Orbs: The orbs floating around Shirotsuki are called ‘jinsei orbs’ by her, but you can call them ‘life orbs’ if it is easier. She has a total of 5 jinsei orbs. The orbs allow Shirotsuki to revive any person if they have died within five minutes of her trying to revive them.

-Basically, if you have been dead for over five minutes, she cannot revive you. After using one of the orbs, it takes 15 minutes to regenerate. Even if she uses all five of them somehow, they will all regenerate after the 15 wait time from the first used orb. She still has a life left after the fifth one, which is her own life. (So in total she has 6 lives.)

-When Shirotsuki dies, the wound will scar. (The only exceptions are burning, getting crushed to death, falling to her death, and being electrocuted.) If she revives another person, the wound will not scar. It’s supposed to be a sort of curse to her and a blessing to others, with the scars reminding Shirotsuki that she shouldn’t try to die on purpose or it will leave a mark.

Also, the orbs will completely heal whatever caused the death. So if you bleed to death and got revived, the wounds that made you bleed to death will heal. Additional smaller scratches and other things of the sort will not be healed though.

Personality: Shirotsuki is more timid and shy around people she doesn’t know, but if she gets to know them even just a little bit she acts slightly more relaxed. She’s really just trying to figure out if you’re going to hurt her when you first meet her.

Shirotsuki is quiet and will ask questions if she’s confused, even if she is not very comfortable around the person she’s asking. If you’re her friend, she doesn’t act very shy. She is also quieter when there are more people around, since she likes to listen more than talk. If she’s with a few people though, she talks normally and will not be nearly as quiet. Shirotsuki will join in on smaller conversations and she likes to hang out with her better friends like Suizo.

She also likes to wander around with her buddies Shadow and Blaze in forests or mainly deserted areas. Shirotsuki does prefer to hang out with smaller groups rather than larger ones, and isn’t a huge fan of crowds.

When she’s talking to her better friends, her emotions tend to reflect what the person she’s with is feeling. If her friend was feeling depressed, she ends up feeling somewhat like her friend but her emotions aren’t as strong as her friend’s. Shirotsuki is an optimistic person who doesn’t think of dying as a ‘terrible horrible thing’ if she can revive the person within a few minutes and completely heal their wound(s).

(She will also risk her life more than others’ since she’ll just revive… unless if she is on her last life, which is when she has no jinsei orbs left.) If she thinks something is her fault, she will end up feeling really guilty so this results in her trying to stay out of trouble sometimes.

Bio: Shirotsuki is blind in her right eye, the one with the scar running through it. Because of this, her depth perception isn’t perfect and stumbling does happen occasionally. (She also cannot see 3D movies or in 3D anytime since she only has one working eye.) Her pupil is like a cat’s eye in her right eye as well, which is why that is the only one drawn on the reference. (I don’t usually draw the pupils so it is easier to tell what the eye color is.) She got this odd scar due to an odd event when she was younger.

--Her mother was frustrated that they didn’t have a lot of money and wanted to have a more ‘normal’ daughter than an albino one, so she sold her daughter Shirotsuki. Shiroi was picked up by Herbert and his son Akito, who is obsessed over ‘fate’ and kept on saying that he and Shirotsuki were connected by the ‘Red Strings of Fate’ from legend. Akito was also a creepy-ish child and would barely leave her alone, so she tried to escape as soon as she could. During her time with Akito and his father, she found a small little griffin in a lab that they were visiting one day, since Herbert sponsored it. That griffin was Shadow, and he helped her escape later when he grew up a bit. Fell and his twin sister Clover are the duo that managed to get Shirotsuki out with Shadow, but she was attacked by Akito in the process and got that lovely scar. She does try to cover up the scar and odd eye more with her bangs.

When she was younger, Shirotsuki met a dying wolf that just so happened to look almost exactly like her current wolf form, minus the scar. Her father came to help her try and patch up the wolf, but when he left for a minute, Shirotsuki and the wolf ‘merged together’ with the end result being a half wolf Shiroi.

Shirotsuki’s wind magic is generally used for small but strong wind gusts, wind wall barriers, slowing her descent from heights, boosting a jump so she can jump up higher, and teleporting/warping over short distances. The first four tricks don’t use a lot of magic so she can use those more often than the teleportation one. That trick is mainly used to get out of the way of some bad thing, like maybe a falling rock or bullet, or getting past a locked door. She can only teleport up to about roughly 6 times before passing out though because it uses quite an amount of magic. She will mainly be using the magic to dodge attacks as she wanders around to possibly help the competitors, and will follow certain teams if they ask her to. She might also use her wolf form to avoid drawing a lot of attention to herself.
