The initial point was argued from a purely linguistic standpoint, which you've repeatedly failed to repute. Your like or "dislike" is irrelevant, as your knowledge and understanding are, in themselves, insufficient to disprove the initial point.

You assumed that I said that you used the word "inferior", when I was only talking about the fact that the word "insufficient" generally has a negative meaning and that it is similar to the word inferior, as in "inferior to something sufficient".

To equate "insufficient" with "inferior" implies a very fundamental misunderstanding of the English language. Inferior is an insult; "insufficient" just means it isn't cut out for certain things, no big deal. (NOT inferior)
In this case, (my initial statement) the basic linguistic tendency of Japanese to follow all consonant sounds with vowels (excluding 'N' ) makes it insufficient for this use case, leading to "Edo" instead of "Ed."
