Jeeze, it looks really obvious now, her thumbs don't even hook around the grip.
She looks like she's literally hanging her weight from the gun.

Dear God, that gun was either badly Photoshopped in or the model is the most awkward human who ever lived. She's holding it like it's a stripper pole.
On top of that the blocking looks ridiculous, the werewolf looks like it's gonna overshoot her and miss by about three feet to the right of her. Also, again the way she's holding the gun it's so far off the centerline of her body and the attack that she's not even in the same postal code as her target.
She'd gonna hit a wall to her left and nowhere close. That could be forgiven, except the muzzle flash is visible in front of the wolf's paw, streaking straight towards his heart in a way that would be impossible in three dimensions.
Oh, and she's also wearing a bright red pilots helmet for no reason, to go with her tight body suit and hilarious platform boots she's have trouble walking a straight line in. I know people love heroins in completely impractical gear, but what universe is this chick even living in? Jesus, even the chicks in Suckerpunch at least had holsters and spare mags, and that took place in a dream world with her wearing a sailor suit.
Oh, and coming back to the gun, dead center of the picture it's firing without ejecting any spent shells, and it's got a bright red muzzle flash going on, with a streaking after image like it was firing a tracer round..
Which would be fine if it weren't fitted with a huge suppressor, a device designed to eliminate muzzle flash entirely.
... Actually, now that I look closely it actually looks just lick this chick was pole dancing, and you rotated her to make it look like she was falling, replacing the pole with a gun.

I've got no reason not to be serious, this picture is a dead, soulless thing, like peeking into a tomb.
There's no sense of motion or urgency, let alone the life and death struggle you're attempting to capture. It's a boring, done to death concept that done boringly when it's not outright bad.
If I feel anything looking at it, aside from confusion as to how this is supposed to look "right", it's annoyance that it's received so many praising comments from people who have no standards.

Really? Must be looking at a different picture from me, because he looks like a kinda bored chick doing a static pose.
Actually she looks like a stripper hanging from a stripper pole. Her thumbs don't even hook around the butt of the gun.

What movement? That chick is doing a static pose that doesn't even imply motion, and the wolf looks like it's supported off screen by hydraulic rams.

Really? Seriously? The "Red Riding hood as ass kicking werewolf hunter" concept? The one that's been so done to death, the God damned Syfy channel has made a movie about it with Lucy Liu?
I'm pretty sure there's kids movies that have done that concept as a throw away joke. I've seen so many variations on this theme online it's only outnumbered by porn versions of the story. Everyone has done it, the exact same thing, it hasn't been creative since 2008, and that's just how long I've been noticing it.

Wow, did you ever think of giving your opinion nicely...like by staying polite and saying something constructive ?
I still think this is a nice interpretation of the original story... but of course I don't waste my spare time watching TV channel all day long !
If you're looking for something that has never been done before, I advise you to stop looking at anything...

Polite? Probably not, but constructive I not only can do, I already did it. comments.deviantart.com/1/3983…
But hey, look at that, you made a passive aggressive insult implying I watched TV all day, congrats, you graduated to high school level insults, you're ahead of the curve on this site my man.
But see, you called it creative, an amazing interpretation of little Red Riding hood, and I conversely pointed out that everyone and their grandmother has done this exact same concept and interpretation seen here so many times that even the Z-grade movie makers had trotted it out to flog the corpse.
Consequently, your response, "If you're looking for something that has never been done before, I advise you to stop looking at anything..."
Which would have been kind of juvenile if I had in any way advocated originality. I merely expressed incredulity at your seeming wide eyed amazement at the creativity of something which is the anti-thesis to creativity, a rehashing of other people's work into a concept that could be described as the village bicycle it's been ridden out so many times.
If I were to express a desire it would be to see the idea done well, instead of this bunch of spare parts thrown together inexpertly and layered over with lacquer to cover it up.
The tragic part is the stock photos used are actually quite good on their own, it's just them being jumbled together in this nonsense sucks all the feeling out of them to create a completely soulless work. Course, going by your own gallery, seeing something utterly soulless would actually be an improvement, I can see why you praise it.
If you wanted to insult me, you did it, just not the way you were trying to.
"I still think this is a nice interpretation of the original story..." Now that's an insult, proof that the efforts of artists everywhere, to improve and make good works, when people like you will swallow even their biggest abortions with a smile.

I was not trying to insult you but what do you expect when you go trolling someone's work with obnoxious comments like these ? I wasn't going to send you flowers !!
Anyway, I won't debate with you any further, I just don't think we could understand each other and have a constructive conversation.
