Installation:
Quick Guide:
To use custom visual styles you need to patch your system, via VistaGlazz or TuneUp Utilities
Next unpack 'NEXTLevel' folder to 'C:\Windows\Resources\Themes' (where C is the partition with Windows installed)
Now you can change the visual style by clicking any .msstyle file, or via 'Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization\Window Color and Appearance'

There are two version of the vs in the packaged, version with orb is called NEXTLevel AT, the classic with the transparent rectangle is simply NEXTLevel

UXtheme dll for Vista64 bit solved.
found a UXTHeme patched DLL marked for AMD 64, but found it also works for newer intel chips.
Finally my vista 64Bit is patched!

Hey! I love your VS but I'm having a problem with the start orb. Even though I'm using the "AT" version I'm still getting the same rectangle as my start button. What should I do?

But, I have a problem with this theme... It doesn't work correctly, the transparency is not displayed as in the preview. What can I do to make the theme works correctly?

I tried another VS and I got the same problem with the orb and yes I did follow the guide. Does it have to do with me using a German version of Vista?

Well I NEXTLevel was the first VS I downloaded, so I tried another and also there I had problems with the orb. The rest worked. Does it matter if I don't have an American vista?

It won't show the custom orb with the "AT" version. It just has the same start button as the normal NEXTLevel version.

I'm sorry I haven't answered earlier, but I was without an internet connection. Anyways I figured it out by accident. Apparently the orb doesn't work if you have the windows fontsize set on big. I put it back to normal and it worked. Thanks anyway for this amazing VS!

hi, i had the same problem with the missing orb & big fontsize.
@ Vathanx : any possibilty to fix this ? i have a laptop with a 17"-display and 1920x1200 resolution and i need a bigger fontsize for my old eyes ;o)

Vista Basic is the cheapest. All versions above have Aero (transparency): Home Premium, Business, Ultimate

hey, i downloaded your awesome theme and i did the vistaglazz thing and patched it but when i go into personalization and click colour and appearance it does nothing. Would you know how to help?
