my idea was, draw twilight as an alicorn princess. with all wavy hair and whole shit.but I don't like twilight and I cannot make myself draw her.
so here you go, next best thing.
her recolour and better side.

Nah, Moondancer. She's obsessed with Twilight and is ungrateful for the friends she has. I was so angry with this character, her Starlight and Sunset all kinda made me angry with the show that I gave up on it.

Well, it's a kid show, so I guess you can't really expect all characters will be written properly.
Altough I don't remember what the moondancer episode was about, I remember how delightfully antisocial she was, and it made me think 'this is exactly what twilight should be like, not that bullshit she claims to be now'. somehow I find her character .... fake.
but starlight and sunset just take the cake. I try to ignore them altogether

Basically, Moondancer is obsessed with Twilight to the point where she doesn't care that others care about her. The fact that Twilight didn't show up to her birthday party more or less made her upset with the world.

I did enjoy it until I had enough when they put Starlight Shimmer in the main cast and still acted like Trixie was the worst.
Like...you have one character who brainwashed an entire town and forgave them too damn easily and one character who's greatest crime was going mad with a cursed object and even then apologized for it.

didn't they say stuff like she's dangerous so they keep her close to watch her constantly so she woudln't go berserk again?
maybe she's gonna go nuts again and be a villain once more.

Bad writing is saying that Alicorns are rare and important then just keep introducing them and make them pointless.

it could be 20 minutes long if they asked discord for help
luckily, for plot convenience he was somehow not around
but it's nicely animated and songs are pleasant so it's worth watching nonetheless
