Hello, everyone. Welcome back to my auction series once again. It seem like my tradition now to make an auction one per month. And this month, I present you the transformable pony. A new race of pony that I made from my love for transformable machine. Even if I'm not good with mechanical and innovation. But I will not let it stop my imagination! So here and now. She's outright stated to be artificial (Meaning she's either a clone, an android or a cyborg) and likely means that Armor's either fused to her or is something like the suit from that 80s cartoon, Centurions.
Still, she's kinda cute.

The tank seems more like a mech worn by a soldier pony, since it has a tail and a butt. A machine wouldn't need one.

Try running a game company, owning the copyright of someone else character is the same way depending on how much the owner value the character. Walt Disney had to buy back a character he sold long ago and regretted. And I'm sure getting it back wasn't cheap. This artist put a lot of time into this oc and has every right to price it as they please. I understand you can't afford it but understand the artist needs money to get by. I think its fair due to the fact what he put into it and what rewards he gives you for it.

Sorry. I don't think about Transformer at all when making this. (I'm Asia and only Transformer I ever watch is all movie) Transformer is Robot transform into vehicle. It machine to machine. But this is pony's armor that can turn into itself along with pony who wear it into Vehicle.
Nothing in this world is new. It hard to make something new. Somewhere somehow. Some place in the world, it might have someone who already use this concept. But I will not let it stop my imagination. Just because someone make it before don't stop other making it. Everyone have their own imagine and dream.

This isn't worth 50$, let alone 200$, even in the creativity department. Mechanized/transforming robots/cyborgs were around since the 80's. All you did was put a pony and a tank together. Adorable, neat and slightly unusual, well drawn as well, but it's not worth the price.
Whoever buys this doesn't know how to spend his money wisely. Period. Go to a library, spend (very little) money and time on studying how to draw yourself and get some actual satisfaction out of your work rather than buy others labor for outrageous prices.
I don't care if you're named Vavacung. In fact, I believe at this point that people are most-likely paying for the name and fame of the artist rather than the actual product's worth.

Worth it or not. It still isn't your matter. Since it isn't your money. So it isn't your right to call them bad just because they spend their money on something you think it isn't worth. Everyone have their own choice of life. What isn't worth for you might worth so much for them. Some don't like drawing, Can't draw or can't think. But love hiring someone to draw. Want someone to turn their idea into a a proper art. Make it visual. That is why we have a job call "artist" in this world.
Even me artist still love to hire someone to draw something for me as well! Because sometime we just like the way that and those artist draw. Someone don't pay for artist name. But for artist unique art style. One man can't draw everything they want. Everyone have their own limit. It's possible to be perfect in everything.
And now...I don't know if this discuss will worth my time or not...Your have your standpoint. I have my standpoint. They have their standpoint...Everyone always believe they choice are right and they will let nothing change it. So if this discuss keep up more. It will only end with hate and tragic. So I will end it here...

If someone wanted to buy a peanut for a 1000$, there's very little I could do to stop him. Still remain that it wouldn't be the wisest of decisions. And spending 50$ to 200$ on something like this, although not as grave or idiotic as the example I just gave, is still hardly qualifies as a smart decision. No matter how you put it, you can't say that it's a bright thing to do. Freedom to spend your money all you like doesn't excuse less-than-desirable decisions such as these.
You're not a designer/digital artist for some company (at least, not with these ponies). You're not doing anything professional by definition. You're not working for Hasbro either. You're doing this for yourself, which is fine! That's what I do, too. And this is what it should be all about. I don't understand artists that go out of their ways over Patreon and commissions selling art to people with questionable prices. It's art. Art is meant to be shared, to be enjoyed, to be seen.
That's why I promote art trade. Because art doesn't have a fixated price; it's art. You trade art for art. It's unique in it's own way and should be currency on it's own. Moreover, it promotes people to actually take a pen and start to draw rather than pull out a few bucks and be unproductive.
And really? If someone can't draw, then they're lazy or spending their personal time on other hobbies. If they're actually handicapped and can actually prove it to me, I wouldn't even DARE to make them pay for something like this. It would be my joy and pleasure to give it to them out of simple generosity. So don't give me this excuse.
