Seeriously... We're literally repeating the SAME exact events that turned Luna to Nightmare Moon!! She's already rejected by everypony in the dreams... Oh gee, I WONDER what will happen next.
I mean, there IS basically only one direction to go from here, right? NM is just sad and lonely right now, amplify that by however many years and she goes nuts again. I was also pretty sure that NM wanted to wreak havoc on all the ponies more than 'ruling' the kingdom, but this is kinda a more interesting way of looking at things!
