From what I know, reloading a save point usually destroys all the progress, voiding all the experience gathered, and so would also revert her strength back to the state it was while saving.

Maybe she's part human, and her dad was killed by her long lost sister, but she'll be able to fight using that scarf which is a human that's part pony... I think I stretched the metaphor too far.
